Accessibility
Communication should remain legible.
Beta conformance statement · 23 August 2026
Fold aims for keyboard, screen-reader, text-scaling, contrast, reduced-motion, touch, and switch-access use across its native surfaces. The web page follows semantic heading order, visible focus, 44-point targets, reduced-motion preferences, forced colors, and responsive layouts.
Desktop
The native desktop app exposes named controls and Trust Receipt readers through AccessKit, supports complete keyboard navigation for primary flows, visible focus, adjustable text/UI scale, high contrast, and non-color status cues. Exact behavior depends on the platform accessibility bridge and is still being tested with Narrator, VoiceOver, Orca, and desktop magnifiers.
iPhone and iPad
The SwiftUI app follows Dynamic Type, VoiceOver labels and announcements, accessibility contrast, Reduce Motion, button shapes, Switch Control-compatible controls, and adaptive compact navigation. Device-level VoiceOver rotor, Voice Control, maximum text size, and physical-keyboard matrices remain release checks.
Known limitations
Right-to-left desktop message shaping, exhaustive physical assistive-technology matrices, and some complex canvas focus containment need more platform verification. See known issues for the current list.
Feedback
Use support and describe the platform, assistive technology, input method, control label, and expected outcome. A diagnostic snapshot is optional.
